Akash Tayal is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication at the Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), Delhi, India. He has a teaching experience of 13 years. He holds a Ph.D. from IIT Delhi in the area of Stochastic Dynamic Facility Layout Problem. He has around 30 papers in international journals (Annals of Operation research, IEEE) and conference proceedings. He is the IEEE Student Branch Mentor for IGDTUW for last 12years. He is a member of Board of Studies and Board of Academic Council of IGDTUW. His current research area is Big Data and Machine Learning. He has been a reviewer expert of a well-known academic journal. He is a life member of GLOGIFT Society, IEEE and IIIE.
