| Assoc.Prof. Zhenbo Xu Associate Professor, Ph.D./Master's Tutor of School of Food Science and Engineering, South China University of Technology, a Adjunct Professor of University of Maryland, and a Visiting Professor of Rajamangala University of Technology. Also, he is the National 100 Excellent Ph.D. Thesis Author (2014), the Guangdong Province High-level Talents Special Support Program, Science and Technology Innovation Young Talents (2017) and Guangzhou Zhujiang Technology Star (2017). He has undertaken 16 scientific research projects including national and provincial-level projects, with a total funding of more than 5 million. There are more than 150 papers were published by him, the first or correspondent authors, including more than 70 SCI papers, with a total impact factor of 170, total citations of more than 1,500 times, total introductions of more than 900 times, and ESI high cited papers. He has edited 1 monograph in English as the Editor-in-Chief (Editor) , edited 3 English monographs and 1 Chinese monograph as the first author, and participated in 2 Chinese monographs as the fourth author. A total of 17 patent applications were filed, including 7 first authors and 4 authorized patents. In the authoritative bioinformatics database (GenBank), he has published more than 200 whole genomes and transcriptomes and more than 30 new plasmids or genes as the first or correspondent authors.
