Rational design of novel carbon materials for environmental application
Research Experience:
Prof. Peng Zhang received his PhD in Physical Chemistry from Northeast NormalUniversity, China (2014). After postdoctoral research at Helmholtz institute, Germany, he joined the School of Materials Science and engineering as a Distinguished Professor at Zhengzhou University. His current research interests focus on one dimensional electrospun carbon-based materials (Graphene, CNF, Carbon layer etc.) and their applications in the fields of environment remediation and energy storage. He has published more than 50 SCI papers in the above fields such as Adv. Func. Mater., Appl. Catal. B: Environ., Environ. Sci.: Nano, SCI has cited more than 3,200 times, H-index is 32.
