Research Experience:
A.Prof. Wangxi Zhang, male, born in 1971, associate professor of Civil Engineering College of Hunan University, deputy director of Department of Structure Engineering, member of the expert pool on Safety Supervision of Hunan Production Safety Committee, member of the Committee on Building Anti-collapse of the Anti-seismic and disaster Prevention Branch of the Chinese Architectural Society, reviewers of several domestic and foreign periodicals.
The main research area includes performance and reliability of reinforced concrete, precast concrete and masonry structures, dynamic, anti-collapse and progressive collapse behavior of structures, and interaction between structure and foundation. Five courses for undergraduate and three courses for postgraduate, such as Design Principle of Concrete Structure and Basic Theory of Concrete Structure, were taught by Dr. Zhang. Dr. Zhang has won one provincial second prize for scientific and technological progress, one national natural science foundation project each, one major research project, six provincial and ministerial level longitudinal scientific research projects, and more than 10 other longitudinal scientific research projects. More than 50 horizontal scientific research projects; 2 textbooks and 2 books; more than 60 journal papers published; 2 patents for national inventions; and more than 40 graduate students guiding graduate students.
