A. Prof. Jing Fang

Tianjin Normal University

方晶副教授 天津师范大学

Research Area:

Mainly engaged in the Holocene sea level change in the lowland of the Liaodong Peninsula, the paleoenvironmental reconstruction of the oyster reef in the western coastal plain of the Bohai Bay and the change of coastline. Recently years, mainly also undertake the research on the pollution degree of  Tianjin  waters territorial based on diatom Assemblage  index.

Research Experience:

I has been working in the College of Geography and Environmental Sciences of Tianjin Normal University from 2006 to now. In 1997, I studied at Nagoya University in Japan and began to study the restoration of paleoenvironment in the Holocene coastal zone. In 1998, I had carried on a lot of drilling boreholes study on the coastal alluvial plains on the Yellow Sea coast on both sides of the Liaodong Peninsula (such as the Dayang River, Zhuanghe River and Biliu River), the Baguagou lagoon plain on the Changxing Island, and the alluvial plains of the Lower Liaohe River. In addition, I carried out multiple boreholes study based on diatom identification in the Great Ocean Plain and the Gully Plain, and discussed  the relative sea surface height and period of the Holocene high sea surface in the Liaodong Peninsula were discussed. From 2009 to now, I was always employed as an external researcher by the Tianjin Geological Survey Center of China Geological Survey. Simultaneously, I also Participated the study of the Horizontal project in Tianjin Geological Survey Center of China Geological Survey, which includes the Quaternary paleoenvironment on the northwestern coast of the Bohai Bay and the reconstruction of the oyster reef paleoenvironment and the Quaternary paleoenvironmental reconstruction of the western coastal plain of the Bohai Bay. Recently years, I mainly also undertake the research on the pollution degree of Tianjin waters territorial based on diatom index.
