Dr. Yifan Fan, College of Civil Engineering and Architecture , Zhejiang University, China
Research Area: building physics, urban ventilation, urban fluid dynamics
Research Experience:
He obtained his
PhD at the University of Hong Kong and now is a research fellow at Zhejiang
University. He currently works on urban and built environment, climate of
megacities and city clusters, urban ventilation and building physics. He
firstly found that the shape of the urban area has significant influence on
urban heat domes and thus can affects urban thermal and wind environment
dramatically. He has published 14 peer-reviewed journal papers in related
fields.
