A.Prof. Reza Sirjani, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), North Cyprus
Research Area: Electric power systems, Optimization techniques, Power transmission lines, Reactive power compensation, Renewable energy, Power quality improvement.
Research Experience:
Dr. Reza Sirjani is currently an associate professor in department of electrical and electronic engineering, Eastern Mediterranean University , North Cyprus. He received his B.Sc from Khajeh Nasir Toosi University of Technology, Iran in 2006 and his M.Sc from Tehran Science and Research branch of Islamic Azad University, Iran in 2008. He got his PhD in the field of power systems from National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2013. He has more than 11 years of research experience in the field of application of different optimization techniques in power systems and renewable energy and also 6 years of teaching experience in several fields of power systems. He published 2 technical books, 1 book chapter (by Springer), more than 20 journal papers and many conference papers in this field. In addition, he was/is the main supervisor of 12 Master/PhD students.
