Biography：Prof. Tao Yu is a professor of School of Aerospace Engineering and Applied Mechanics, Tongji University. He got his Ph.D degree in Materials Science in 2009 from Tongji University. Then he entered school of Aerospace Engineering and Applied Mechanics in Tongji Univerisity as a postdoctoral fellow. He has worked at Tongji Univerisity from 2011. His research interest are focused on bio-mass composites, bio-based resin, nanocomposites and flame retardant composites.

Biography:
Jüri Majak is a Professor at Mechanics of Materials in Tallinn University of Technology, He holds a Dr. Sci. Math (PhD), Tartu University, 1993,BSc, MSc. Tartu University, Applied Mathematics.His research area is Numerical methods (Haar wavelets, etc.), Design optimization methods, algorithms and tools (application to composite, nanostrcutures, etc.),Composite materials and structures, Mechanics of Materials (Composites, FGM, sheet metal, smart materials with structural health monitoring), Nanomechanics (bending, buckling and vibrations of nanostructures).
His Ongoing research projects have PUT1300 "Numerical methods and algorithms for design of advanced composite and nanostructures (1.01.2016−31.12.2019)", TAR16012 "Zero energy and resource efficient smart buildings and districts (1.10.2015−1.03.2023)", F15027 "Smart manufacturing and materials technologies competence centre (1.09.2015−31.12.2022)".
