Research Experience:
André Furtado is a researcher at the Faculty of Engineering of University of Porto (Portugal). He is a researcher at the Laboratory of Earthquake and Structural Engineering (LESE). His major interests are seismic engineering, structural rehabilitations, Structural safety and Structural health monitoring including experimental and numerical activities. He has co-authored more than 100 publications in top-tier peer-reviewed journals and at national and international conferences. He received also on international prize regarding an international contest of blind prediction of infilled RC structure subjected to earthquake motions.
