Research Experience:
In describing my research experience, I separate the
explanation into 2 sections. In the first section, I will describe my research
activities. Then, I will describe my publications in the second section.
For me, in order to maintain the continuity of research
activities, the research funding plays an important role. Up to this date, I
have secured 4 fundamental research fundings (provided by Malaysia Ministry of
Education) and 1 industrial funding (from Continental (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd). The
total amount of fundings that I received are MYR 350, 000. All received
fundings are for my works in the field of optimization, software testing as
well as machine learning. These fundings enable me to produce 5 PhD holders and
2 MSc holders (research mode). Not only that, from these fundings I am able to
produce several products that win 1 gold medal in University level Innovation
Competition and 2 Silver Medals in International level Innovation Competition.
As for my publications, I have
produced more than 20 articles (related to my field of works) in impact and
index journals, international and national conferences and in form of book
chapters. To date, Google Scholar has recorded 154 citations to my work with
h-index of 7. On the other hand, SCOPUS website has recorded a total of 77
citations for my work with h-index 5.
