Biography:
Dr. Li Fang joined Nanyang Technological University (NTU),
Singapore as a Lecturer in 2002 and is a senior lecturer with the School of
Computer Science and Engineering, NTU. She
received a BEng. in Computer Science at Southeast University, China, as well as
a M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Computer Science at Nanyang Technological University,
Singapore.
Her research interests include Image processing, Image
retrieval, computer networks, and network security Pattern recognition, Health
care, Education.
Dr. Li Fang has over 30
peer-reviewed publications in this field and her research has received awards
from a variety of venues, e.g., best paper
award in The 4th International Conference on Cloud Computing and Security
(ICCCS2018). Dr. Li
fang is an Associate Editor for The international
journal Information System Frontiers (ISF).
She served as Secretary and treasurer of
IEEE Education Society, Singapore Chapter and is an active researcher. Besides
local collaborations in Singapore (inside and outside NTU), she has been
actively invloved International collaboration with researchers in Japan and China.
She served as Program or Conference Chair and Technical
Program committee member for several international conferences including ACAI, CSSE,
CTISC, CVGIP, ICIBB, CMVIT , and ICFCC. She had been a keynote speaker for
variuos International conferences.
She is also a
member of PREMIA(Singapore).
