Dr. Jagriti Narang is working as an Assistant professor in Department of Biotechnology, Jamia Hamdard, India, and has work experience of more than 8 years. She has authored or coauthored 73 research papers in international peer-reviewed journals. She holds ten patents on biosensors and uses of nanotechnology in molecular techniques. She was awarded a silver medal for extraordinary contribution during her PhD.  She has also received prestigious award “Shakuntla Amir chand Award “by ICMR. She has also been project investigator and co-project investigator in two projects by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. She has edited two book and 10 chapters in her credits. She is committee member of many international conferences and is member of Material Research Society of India and Society of Biological Chemistry. She is also editor and peer reviewer of many international journals and has presented her papers on several international platforms. Dr. Narang has done extensive work on the fabrication of various biosensors that are used for measuring serum metabolites like triglycerides, cholesterol, glutathione, peroxides, bilirubin, oxalates, lysine, and ascorbic acid. In the area of drug monitoring, she has done extensive work on anti-HIV, anti-epileptic, and anti-diabetic drugs. She has proposed some laboratory models that can be converted into commercial monitoring devices.
