Research Area: Biomechanics; Biomaterials; Biomimetics; Bone Mechanics; Finite Element Method; Fracture Mechanics; Damage Mechanics; MetaMaterials.
Research Experience:
Mohammad J. Mirzaali received his BSc (in 2008) and MSc (in 2011) degree in Mechanical Engineering respectively from Amirkabir University of Technology, Iran, and Tarbiat Modares University, Iran. He obtained his PhD (cum laude) in Mechanical Engineering at the department of Mechanical Engineering, Politecnico di Milano (POLIMI), Milan, Italy in 2018. He is currently a lecturer/ post doctoral researcher at the department of Biomedical Engineering, Delft University of Technology (TU Delft). His main research interests focus on biomechanics, bio-materials and biomimicry.
