Research Area: Metal Matrix Nano-Composites, Metals Characterization, Spark Plasma Sintering, Two Dimensional Dichalcogenides
Research Experience:
The research experience and interests include:
- Synthesis of Two Dimensional Dichalcogenides, especially MoS2 and WS2, nano-sheets and mono, few layers by Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) and Mechanical Milling methods. And their applications in gas sensors.
- Synthesis of Aluminum Titanate (Al2TiO5) nanopowders for fabrication of advanced metal matrix nanocomposites by Spark Plasma Sintering.
- Synthesis of CNT-reinforced Metal and Ceramic Matrix Nano-Composites by Spark Plasma Sintering and studing their physicomechanical properties.
- Synthesis of porous metallic components by Spark Plasma Sintering and studing their physicomechanical properties.
- Fabrication of metal matrix nano and micro composites by additive manufacturing processes.
