Tung-Han Chuang received the Ph.D. degree in physical metallurgy from Stuttgart University, Germany, in 1983 and was Scientific Researcher at Max-Planck Institute of Metal Research in Stuttgart from 1983 to 1985. He was the Deputy Dean of the College of Engineering, and is currently a Distinguished Professor with the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, National Taiwan University and Chief of the Corrosion Engineering Association of Taiwan. His research interests include failure analysis, electronic packaging, thermoelectric materials. He has published 180 SCI papers and holds 85 patents. Dr. Chuang was awarded the Gold Prize at the Seoul International Invention Fair in 2011, and member of 2012 R & D 100 Award Winner.
