Finite Element Analysis, Earthquake Engineering; FRP Composites.
Research Experience:
Dr. Wu received his PhD degree from the University of Utah in USA and has been working on the seismic rehabilitation of structures using advanced composites, such as Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymers (CFRP) in the past years. He also has worked on developing analytical model for predicting bond behaviors in the reinforced concrete beams. Currently, his research interests include Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC), FRP laminates and bars, and Shaped Memory Steel.
