Research Experience:
Hesham Moustafa earned his PhD from Universite de Haute-Alsace (UHA-IS2M-CNRS), Mulhouse, France. He currently works at the Polymer Metrology & Technology Department, National Institute of Standards (Egypt). He leads a research group working on polymer science and nanotechnology, as well as green polymers and biocomposites. Moreover, his research focuses on packaging and intelligent packaging materials. His current project is 'Eco-friendly composites for green packaging'. For metrology fields, I’m developing the quality system of polymer metrology laboratory to fulfil accreditation requirements according to ISO/IEC 17025. So, our lab is accredited in mechanical properties for rubber and plastic materials (ASTM D 412& ASTM D 638), Melt flow rate according to ASTM D 1238 & ISO 1133, and density and specific gravity of plastics according to ASTM D 792.
