Research Experience:
Dr. Isidoros Perikos received his Diploma of Computer
Engineer in 2008 and his MSc and PhD on Computer Science from the Department of
Computer Engineering and Informatics, University of Patras, in 2010 and 2016
respectively. His main research interests include artificial intelligence,
e-Learning and integration of ICT in education, data mining and knowledge
extraction, 3D virtual worlds and virtual reality, natural language processing
and affective computing. He has published over 50 papers in international
conferences, journals and workshops. In 2012 he joined the Greek School Network
and Networking Technologies Directorate at the Computer Technology Institute
and Press “Diophantus”, primary working for the design of innovative e-learning
systems. He has participated in several National and European R&D projects.
He is a member of IEEE, ACM, Hellenic Artificial Intelligence society and Technical
Chamber of Greece.
